Ordering

How do I place an order?
You can place an order through our ordering platform at sendbottles.com/newrootsmeals. Simply browse our weekly menu, add items to your cart, and checkout. For subscriptions, choose your plan and we'll automatically deliver meals each week unless you skip or modify your order.
When is the order deadline?
All orders must be placed by Saturday at 8pm for Tuesday delivery. This gives us time to source fresh ingredients from our local partners and prepare your meals with care.
Can I customize my subscription?
Yes! With any subscription plan, you can log into your account and swap out meals, add extra items, or skip a week entirely. Changes must be made before the Saturday 8pm deadline. We want you to love every meal that arrives at your door.
Is there a minimum order amount?
For a la carte orders, there is a minimum order of $30. Subscription plans have no minimum as they're pre-set packages. This minimum helps us maintain sustainable delivery routes and keep our prices fair.

Delivery

When do you deliver?
We deliver every Tuesday. Your meals will arrive fresh and ready to eat or heat. Delivery times vary based on your location within our delivery area, but you'll receive a notification when your order is on its way.
Where do you deliver?
We currently deliver to Manchester, NH and surrounding areas including Bedford, Hooksett, Londonderry, Derry, Auburn, Candia, and Chester. Enter your zip code at checkout to confirm delivery availability in your area.
Is there a delivery fee?
Delivery is free for orders over $50. For orders under $50, a $5 delivery fee applies. Subscription orders always qualify for free delivery. We believe fresh, healthy food should be accessible and convenient.
Do I need to be home for delivery?
No, you don't need to be home! We package all meals in insulated bags with ice packs to keep them fresh until you can refrigerate them. We recommend retrieving your delivery within a few hours and placing items in the refrigerator promptly.

Are all meals plant-based?
Yes! All New Roots meals are 100% plant-based and vegan. We believe in the power of plants to nourish your body and support a sustainable food system. Our meals are crafted to be satisfying and flavorful for everyone, whether you're vegan or just looking to incorporate more plants into your diet.
Where do you source your ingredients?
We're proud to partner with local farms and producers throughout New Hampshire and New England. Sourcing locally means fresher ingredients, reduced environmental impact, and support for our local economy. Our ingredient sources change seasonally to highlight the best of what's available.
How should I store and reheat my meals?
Store all meals in the refrigerator upon delivery. Most meals stay fresh for 5-7 days. For reheating, we recommend using a microwave for 2-3 minutes or heating in a pan on the stovetop for best results. Specific heating instructions are included with each meal.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Many of our meals are naturally gluten-free, and we clearly label all menu items with allergen information. If you have specific dietary needs or allergies, please contact us before ordering and we'll help you find suitable options. Please note that our kitchen processes common allergens, so we cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination.
Do you offer gluten-free options?
Yes! Many of our meals are gluten-free or have gluten-free options available. Look for the "Gluten-Free" tag on menu items. We use gluten-free tamari instead of soy sauce and offer gluten-free pasta alternatives for many dishes.

Subscriptions

How do subscriptions work?
When you subscribe, your card will be automatically charged each Friday for Tuesday delivery. Your cart will auto-fill with chef-selected meals unless you make your own selections. You can customize, skip, or cancel anytime before the Saturday 8pm deadline. It's the easiest way to ensure you always have delicious, healthy meals ready to go.
Can I skip a week or pause my subscription?
Absolutely! Life happens, and we want our subscription to work for you, not the other way around. Log into your account before the Saturday 8pm deadline to skip an upcoming week or pause your subscription. You can resume anytime when you're ready.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. There are no cancellation fees or penalties. If you cancel after the Saturday deadline, you'll still receive your next scheduled delivery.
What if I'm not home for delivery?
Our meals are packaged in insulated bags with ice packs to stay fresh for several hours. We recommend refrigerating them as soon as possible after delivery. If you have special delivery instructions (like leaving at a back door or with a neighbor), you can add those notes to your account.
